How to (un)stake in Pools
Liquidity pools opened after our governance token launch, offering users opportunities to earn Gro DAO tokens by providing liquidity.

Step 1: Navigate to Pools from the main page

Click on "Pools" at the left-side menu of https://app.gro.xyz

Step 2: Choose which pool you'd like to provide liquidity

Choose the pools available on this page that interest you the most. There are two types of pools:
Gro - Liquidity Pools (https://app.gro.xyz/pools)

Single-sided pools

  • Available for Gro DAO tokens (GRO) and Gro Vault tokens (Vault)
  • You need to acquire the token (get GRO at any of the exchanges listed here or Vault at our dApp), then the "1. Stake" button would light up for you to stake. You would need to do two transactions here - first to approve the use of the coin, another to actually stake into the pool.
  • Once you've staked into these pools, the "Unstake" button together with "2. Go to GRO rewards" will light up and become available. You would also see your positions displayed, stating how much you've staked and how many GRO tokens you've earned.
  • For unstaking, you simply need to click "Unstake" and follow through the instructions from your wallet. There is no lockup period for staking, so you are free to unstake at any point.
  • Once you have unstaked, you are free to trade your principal amount; your GRO rewards will be subject to 12-month vesting starting from 10% vested on Day 1. Unstaking would not impact your GRO rewards' vesting schedule.

Two-asset "pair" pools

  • Available for GRO/ETH (Balancer), GRO/Vault (Uniswap v2), GRO/USDC (Uniswap v2), PWRD/3CRV (Curve Metapool)
  • You need to first acquire the Liquidity Pool (LP) tokens from the respective Decentralised Exchanges (Balancer for GRO/ETH, Uniswap v2 for GRO/Vault or GRO/USDC, Curve for PWRD/3CRV). In order to do so, you must first get the tokens that are in the respective Liquidity Pools. Once you have both tokens required (i.e. GRO & ETH for the Balancer pool), you need to go to the liquidity pool through clicking "1. Supply Pool".
  • Once you have supplied to the Liquidity Pool, you would get LP tokens in return. At this point "2. Stake" would light up for you to stake these LP tokens on our Pools page. You would need to do two transactions here - first to approve the use of the LP token, another to actually stake into the pool.
  • Once you've staked into these pools, the "Unstake" button together with "3.
  • Once you have unstaked, you can either keep the LP tokens in your wallet, or remove liquidity from the Liquidity Pool to retrieve your principal amount.
  • The pools may not be listed on the default dashboard (such as in the case of Uniswap); if you do not see the pools displayed on the dashboard, please click "Import Pool" and add in the assets. For our token address, please refer to this page.
Click "Import Pool" and add the token address if needed
  • Your GRO rewards will be subject to 12-month vesting starting from 10% vested on Day 1. Unstaking would not impact your GRO rewards' vesting schedule.
